Kermit Genereux

Kermit is loaded with real estate experience! In 1984, Kermit earned his real estate license and went to work for Realty World Great Northwest. In 1989, he founded Genereux Realty Inc and was the owner and broker for 33 years. Kermit has been involved in a variety of real estate transactions, including homes, farms, commercial, 1031 exchanges and much more. If there is a title issue out there, he has probably dealt with it and solved it. This has built him a great wealth of knowledge that is invaluable for his clients, customers and friends. In December of 2021, Kermit sold his office to USA Realty. This will allow him to be more focused on listings and sales, which is his first passion of the business. Kermit is also passionate about community involvement. He is a Past President of the TRF Jaycees, Chamber of Commerce, TRF Realtor Association and the TRF Rotary Club. He has served many years as the Treasurer of the Thief River Falls Baseball Association and has been a Thief River Falls Hockey Association Board Member. Kermit is currently serving his 8th term as Chairman of the Northwest MN Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board. In 2020, the Northwest MN Association of Realtors awarded him, Citizen of the Year, for his dedication and service to community.
